How can one person benefit the planet? Begin by getting serious about maintaining or rebuilding a healthy body. Eating organic whenever possible will reduce the toxic load on our bodies. Eating less red meat will reduce the destruction of the surface of our planet and consequent pollution created by animal waste seeping into our waters. There are many natural ways to keep illness at bay. Under nutritionals you will find some of the least expensive of these, but certainly not the least effective; kefir, essaic tea and maitake mushroom tea. While taking responsibility for our well being we can take responsibility for our planet too. Perhaps we can wake up, one by one, and while we must still work through each day to guarantee our basic needs, we should not do it void of consciousness, but in awareness that everything we do as individuals ultimately matters to the whole.
